I doubt the woman who bred Gabi and withheld her and her pups all this time ever tattooed the litter. I suspect they were sold for whatever could be gotten for them, sent as far away as possible, possibly on Craigslist. The age of this gal is exactly right for that litter... Spring 2010, South-central PA.

Where do I look for a tattoo? I am wondering if she is microchipped. I will have the vet check today. I was also told that she might have vet records with her at AC, if so I will get those today.

I believe the tattoo would be inside the ear. She definitely looks like she is from solid working lines. Hopefully whoever surrendered her left some information about her past.

Ok I will check her ears today. I found out that she came from a very nice neighborhood, super nice homes. I can't figure out why they gave her and the boxer pup up, both are very well taken care, both are obedience trained. I am wondering what else she knows besides the basic commands.

Very interesting. Some people see dogs as disposable. Maybe they left her pedigree with the shelter.

The tattoo would be inside her right ear. She may never have been registered, and the tattoo would likely not be a USA one, as this particular breeder makes them up.

Might be a full sister Melba. There were two litters by the same male born very close together. I suspect papers might even have gotten "mixed up".
