My name is Jamie and I have been a member of this sight  for a little over a year and a half now; I think.

I  have owned German shepherds only, for the last 10 years and have recently adopted a stray bull dog. She really needed my help and apparently money too, haha. We've had a pretty rough start. I have named her Jada and she is aproximately 3 years old, white and brindle. Big sweetie and loves my children.

I've owned her about 2 weeks now. She had yeast infections in her wrinkles on her face and tail that smelled like death, cherry eyes, fleas, ticks, and  under weight. Believe it or not it was love at first sight. I took her to my vet and she educated me a little on the breed and told me we have along road ahead of us. First thing first we had the cherry eyes fixed and all of her shots and then the real trouble began when I went to have her spaded. She was four weeks pregnant and we didn't know. The doc had to remove the pups and seen that she had had several c-sections and lots of scar tissue.  The Doc had a lot of trouble completing the spay and it took a little too much time and she stopped breathing. She had to spend 4 days at the hospital, lot of vomiting and so on. I have her home now. She seems to be ok, except she is still not eating or drinking so I cannot give her antibiotics yet, which she has had a couple of antibiotic shots, so hopefully she will be ok and began to eat soon.

I thought about trying to coax her to eat with some tasty food of any kind I could get her to eat, but I've read that bullies have stomach trouble and I am afraid it might induce more vomiting.

If she dont eat or drink in the morning I'm going to call the vet again and see what she suggest. Well any way that is Jada and me. Say a little prayor for us and any advise would be wonderful.
