Hi Everyone,

Ron is Cisco's Paternal Grandfather.......He's listed in the Data Base both ways.......I'm pretty sure the correct spelling is with the "H".
I've checked the  Working Dog EU web site and they have the same registration number and the "H" is included in the spelling.
Is there a way to verify which is the correct spelling? Do any of you know who owned Ron so that I could contact them for verification?

Any suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Cheri

working-dog.eu is pretty meticulous.  they check out every pedigree & every dog that is added.  if the registration number matches, i would be sure its the right spelling.

The WinSIS program also shows it the same way as Workingdog.eu, so I think you can comfortably say the first spelling is the correct one.

Thanks Ziegenfarm and Hexe.
I thought the same thing but didn't want to presume.....I've notified the admins and hopefully they can fix the double.

This is watercastle Bodelschwingh in Dortmund, Germany.

The kennelname is written "vom Bodelschwingher Schloss".

My cousin was married in there...

Well Darn......laugh......I feel like I'm on a merry go round and can't get off.

Thanks Workingdogz.....is it possible that the spelling could be wrong on the link you provided?

Thank you Susie.....What a beautiful place to get Married......Do you happen to know if the Kennel is still active?

Anything is possible, but Google searches pulled up that
spelling more than one time, including on some previous
breedings ?

BBbbbBelieve me, its written with an "h", but even in Germany this spelling is unusual, so a lot of people make faults...

The dog above is Dasso Bodelschwingher Schloss, bred in the early 80s. I remember this guy.
I don´t know if the breeder is still active - should be old by now...

i am quite certain susie is correct.  i remember dasso as well.  here is another link for ron just in case you are still doubtful:
http://www.schaeferhunde-sportinfo.de/Deckrueden/Ron_Bodelschwinger_Schlo%DF.htm

the link reads without the H, but if you go to that page you will see his name twice by the picture with the H.  i am certain that is
correct.

I have Dasso in my lines, and pretty sure I've always seen it spelt with a H
