DenWolf

I haven't been around much.. its been a fairly awful year for us.. and a summer of sadness..

I lost my dad in May, and now my uncle just this past week..  both to aggressive cancer.

Today I spent the afternoon with Bee (beetree) up here in New England..  it was a really pleasant and much needed break from all the sadness at the old homestead...

Dante enjoyed the pool immensely..

I thought some of you who remember Bee would enjoy these pictures..  we were invited to swim, and enjoy the beautiful yard, flowers, lovely pool, and a wonderful dinner with her family, including Beau (baby rhino, not so baby anymore) and Mojo (getting gray, but still young at heart).

Say "hi" to her..  she cannot post any longer, but does read from time to time.

Hey Bee,

Beautiful pool area and yard. Especially love your pool area. I still think about you and hope all is well with you.

DenWolf,

Sorry to here how bad things are going. Death and loss is never easy. I lost both my parents fairly young so I can relate, just try and keep your head up and your feet planted and things will look up. I miss our talks we used to have every so often. Thank you for updating us on Bee.

Hi Bee and DW: YOU do not know me but MOM says HI...

Beautiful and peaceful..

Death is usually followed by a birth so keep your eyes on the positive.

Denwolf, about 11 years ago, I lost my dad, my husband and my mother all within 10 months of each other, so I have an inkling of what you're going through. Multiple losses are very hard to bear. It will take time: the healing is a long, slow process that never really finishes. I still miss my husband every day.

Big 'hello' to Bee, and glad you two were able to get together and have a good time! Her pool looks AMAZING!

Hi Ladies.....I love the pool and Dante. Wish I could have been there too. That's a great way to spend a day.

Sorry for your sad losses, DenWolf.

"Hi" Bee, very nice pool setup.

Denwolf, I'm so sorry about your dad and uncle. It happened to my grandmother and grandmother on my mom's side, and I had just gotten to really know them; especially, my grandmother when she left us about five years ago. My mom's BF's sister and her SO passed away a year apart from each other years ago too.

So glad to see you had at least some good days! So important for the soul!

Thank you all for the kind words...  I appreciate it!

We fly home tomorrow..  it's been a lot to go thru this summer..

It was really nice to see Bee and a few other dog people, while we up in the northeast.

Wow, the traffic..  there are entirely too many people driving cars up here!!!  Driving thru Boston was nuts...

As requested, here are this week pics of Beau and Mojo.. they went for a long hike with Bee's hubby while we swam, as we didn't want a confrontation with Dante.
