Capitan police seized 44 dogs and a horse from a Lincoln County dog breeder Nov. 18.

"Last week the Capitan Police Department received information that a local kennel was not feeding nor providing medical care to a large number of dogs," Capitan Police Chief Randy Spear said Wednesday. "We were able to confirm that report through interview and a search warrant executed on (Nov. 18)."

Officers seized 44 Belgian Malinois dogs and a horse from Ruidoso Malinois on Dean Road.

"Not only does it appear these dogs were left by the kennel owner without proper food, as well as other neglect, it has been confirmed that all the dogs are infected with Giardia and Coccidiosis," Spear said. "While I am not a veterinarian, it is my understanding from speaking with two veterinarians that Giardia particularly is contagious to not only dogs but can be transferred to humans."

That's terrible but good that the dogs are out of there if it conditions were that deplorable. I wonder what will become of all the Mals seized??? I think they had a few studs (Rasta and Negundor Cobe).

What does that Ruidoso News story say??? You have to be a member to read it. And you have to pay.

My dog is from that breeder. (a female from Cobe and Banga)

 And I would like to know the full story. I was just there in October. I didn't like what I saw to be honest, and my Shona girl was very thin when I went to pick her up :(

This is irene from Ruidoso Malinois, all the accusations are false and untrue. I am perusuing everything legally, and to the fullest extent of the law. As soon as I am able I will post all the details. My attorney has advised me NOT to give any  details at this time. This is a difficult order to follow as I very badly want the truth to be known.  In the mean-time people are making harsh negative judgements unhampered by knowledge and this is causing great harm to my reputation and hard work . I am condemed in the court of public opinion formulated on an absence of  the TRUE facts. It is a very difficult time. I would not wish this experience on the worst of humanity.

Go to http://www2.nmcourts.gov/caselookup/app and follow the steps until you get to where you enter name, last name first. Here enter Howcroft and you'll see all kinds of charges being files and they are not done yet.
 By the way she has only been in business since 2009 and the Master Trainers Certificate she claims to have was forged, she attended Mike Bullock's school but did not make it and he is helping the NM Police against her. She is a con artist. Contact Capitan, NM Police Department if you have any information or bought one of her sick dogs.

What a nut job she is.  Sounds like a great person.  Owes a tone of money, found with drugs, evidence tampering.  She has such a long list of debt and being sued.  What a joke.
