| I am trying to track down the pedigree on my Mal. He has a tat in his right ear (167T). I was told that he is a Slovakian import and a grandson of Turcodos. Any advice on who to contact to find out what kennel he came from? Thanks! |

| If the dog is originally from Slovakia, you might research the Sloviakian kennel club. Many European kennel clubs track tattoos, you may be able to contact them and get information on the dogs registered name, original owner, etc.

| Fetzidaddy I don´t think it is 167T,the last one must be a number not letter T - can you check it again.?If you get it right,I think I may be able to help you find out the info you are looking for.I would bet that he is Arco Duvetorre son,Arco is son of Turcodos and he was used quite a lot for breeding here in Slovakia.I myslef have a Arco daughter in my kennel. | Malndobe, The length of the tattoo is correct,I just had a malinois litter of 4 pups born on the 18th of December 2009 and tattoo numbers were 2779 - 2782.Each breed has its own numbers.First mali was imported to Slovakia in 1990 or 1991 and the breed became more popular just in last 6-7 years. |
