You are absolutley correct about decoys. However, training decoys have no way of varifiying what they have done. Decoys can get certified as a "trial decoy" but there is a huge difference between a trial decoy and a training decoy. Good ecoys know exactly who knows what they are talking about and who does not.

 I can tell you I have been the main training decoy for dozens of titled dogs and certified K9's but have not received "credit" for it.

I don't really need it; I know what role I played in the training. That is just the life of a decoy
