U also seen many dog destroyed by being pushed into defence. If the decoy does not work that dog correctly he is finished. We still don't know how old he is. In prey you can teach confidence. If the dog is natural aggressive it will always be ther. If you push in the wrong direction ther is little chance of coming back. What the hurry with all these dogs. A dog will muture at his own time and if working on nerves it may take longer because matureity nerve and the brain has to be on the same level. Imo

blade, unfortunatele these days many clubs and people lost the ability to work every dog regarding its own strengths and weaknesses, rather today many clubs have a one size fits all trainingplan that doesnot benefit the majority of dogs

Yep Duke that is my fear for this dog. So rather than damage I'd be inclined to hold back until the right decoy club is found. It obviously not this on or the op would not be asking the question decoy would be answering it with his handling of the dog. Clubs popping up every where with no leader or experience.

All the dogs working well in defense are not in "suspicion" or in hackles. Hackles indicate dog is uncomfortable. Strong dogs in this situation are not uncomfortable.

Agreed with last post by @duke. So many clubs popping up with no experience or qualifications. I am so, so, so careful when working any of my dogs with a decoy or helper. I don't take anyone's word for anything.
