Hello Pedigree database professionals reaching out to get more knowledge before I do this breeding. Any advice would be greatly appreciated I want to breed my check import female with A stamp hips normal elbows to a male with mild hips normal elbows and his DM clear some say it will be OK won’t be no issues since the male has mild hips but would like some more advice. Thanks again both have very nice pedigrees.

Seriously...Why don't you post the pedigrees with the Hip/Elbow...etc...ratings...Let people see for themselves exactly what you're talking about...Maybe then some people would share their thoughts...

If you make it Orville Redenbacher's smart pop corn I can join in, no beer, I dont drink and I know nothing of breeding.

the first question would be how are the litter mates of the male and female? any family ZW numbers?

quite a bit of difference in say good hips from a litter full of not good. same for mild from a litter full of goods (or bad).

just from the limited info and since you ask, I wouldn't do it. I have had dogs with HD, one crippling that I had put down. not fun.

now, hips can be replaced but it's several thousand dollars in the U.S.

best wishes and jmo,

Rik
