Koots, they are brokers.

Ruger, I had well over $3,700 USD in the pup...they did not stand by the sale and their word was shit...no papers unless I give them more money? And that was after I had the pup with me....when does the demand for more money stop?

( I know I was to pay the shipping for the replacement and I was more than willing) no replacement pup, when they told me they would send another to replace the crippled one they sent me? That's more than just " finding something I don't like about the breeder".

I have not seen any adds on here by them except for a Rottweiler about a year ago...so I figured they were loosing customers simply be their poor business practices. Now that they have another ad on here, I think it's fair to let others know about their dishonesty.

Ruger, you may not think it's fair to warn others when these scammers have resurfaced, but I do.

If anyone wants to know who this broker is, pm me.

joan, everyone has to learn at their own pace and expense.

anyone who has any success in the dog world, any venue, any breed, can share a story such as yours. I have several, I guess because I am especially stupid (or optimistic).

and really, people who only post on message boards, spend no time or finance putting their dogs against all comers in public, what is there for them to learn ( or contribute, except neverending nonsense).

everyone is expert on everything GSD when they have to show no accomplishment against GSD in public.

you waste your time.

No, I don't waste my time, Rik. I get up at 4 am every morning, old habbits are hard to break.
I get more done in a day than most could get done in a week.

Anyway, this was the first and only ad I ever responded to on pdb, and the result was absolutely the worst , most costly, experience.

I have been making a living with animals all my adult life...buying every kind of animal from camel, to buffaloes, Brahman bull calves, horses, dogs, babboon....never been screwed like what happened off the ad on here.
So, no, Rik. I'm absolutely not wasting my time.
It's not " normal" nor to be accepted that people should **EXPECT** to get fkt over when buying an animal.

Sorry you believe it is to be expected to be scamed, and that people should not desire to be treated with honesty when buying a dog or puppy or any other species of animal, nor that doing  "due diligence" should be discouraged. If not the people who have had bad experience, who is the buyer to ask if it's a waste of time to give heads up?

I even asked a poster on a forum who lives in Netherlands and involved in knpv about the seller before I pulled the trigger.

I'll warn anyone who inquires.

well. I guess I didn't come across clear..

and certainly did not mean that it was a waste of your time to warn about scammers.

just that it was a waste of your time debating people who have nothing to show with dog.

anyway, best to you

Rik~ Was your first post directed at me? I don’t want to take offense if non was given, but I was the only other poster, other than koots that joanro was addressing.

Fyi ~ One needn’t be in the public’s eye to have spent a good deal of money and time for the love of GSD’s ,,

And you don’t have to be competing at national levels to “get taken” by unscrupulous people and learn lessons that break both pocket book and heart ,,,

I don’t have a lot to “show” with dogs in the way of competitions ect, but I have spent the money, learned some lessons, and have a story ,,,,😊

Joanro~ I think it is fine to talk about your experiences, My point was only that which I stated clearly on the other thread that I’m not sure is still there in total.😊

ruger, no, my fault not taking time to recognize who OP is referring to.

regret reply at all, since I am apparently so poor at getting point across and meant no dis-respect or offense at all to OP.

also ruger, I made my living training robots, not animals.

I didn't ride in here on a cow, which I admit was very impressive

nor do I have to support my retirement with animals.

nor do I offer any puppy of any breed for sale, 1 time a year or 1 time every 5 year.

Rik, I hope you are not backhandedly implying that I " support my retirement with animals".
Because it's my retirement that supports my animals.

Btw, I never rode a " cow".
