I just reported BBs latest post as abusive - too much is too much, at least for me.

If all and any want a thread about how nice and wonderful the police are then start a new thread .. my thread was about the dangers of police coming on your property and killing your dogs with plenty of proof. The cop worshipers then piled on telling me that cops never kill dogs (despite all the videos showing them doing just that) and they all have a halo and wings. The facts about cops killing dogs are well known .. they kill at least 15 every day. They claim if a puppy scratches their shoes or might scratch their shoes then they have the "right" to kill and that is what they do on video tape and in living color. I posted on video of a police officer in Meridian Idaho handling a dog complaint properly .. the only one that I have found thus far.

BBBB; You are so smart and you know more about dog training than any other person who has ever lived. Why not go to a 4H program and teach? Therre are no reasons like an order for protection or a conviction which requires you to stay away from children, right? If you get involved helping people you might feel better about yourself and your plot in life.

Spoken like a cop .. gsdstudent .. try to intimidate or defile those who are not like you and believe exactly as you do.  You can save the "God blessing" BS as well .. my dogs and I trend toward Buddhism or nothing at all.  I was a 4-H professional Extension county agent and an agricultural  Extension county agent for six years before I graduated to the real world so I know all about 4-H and extension work.  You might want to watch the movie "Peace Officer" which stars a sheriff who started the first SWAT team in his rural county and then 30 years later watched the goons kill his son in law for nothing.  Then he shows various cases where the cops lie and commit perjury about their sloppy work and unethical methods.  You can watch it on Amazon ( free with Prime ) .. 92 % thought it was very good while 8% ( presumably cops or cop worshipers ) found it offensive.

@bubbabooboo, for someone who seems so ardent about his feelings on truth and justice you sure seem to ignore truth.

Who said cops never shoot dogs? Who said there are no incompetent or even morally corrupt cops?

How many people die per year because of a doctor's error? It's a lot more than are unjustifiably killed, or killed period, by cops. So let's vilify ALL doctors and the entire medical profession.

You can feel as much fear as you want when it comes to the police but the reality is, and there are facts to back this up, you should be more worried about your fellow citizens.

Here's some "good" news for you:

"Carwile and Jones were fortunate enough not to see their dogs get gunned down. Nicole Echlin and her 6-year-old daughter weren’t so lucky. A few days ago their year-old shepherd mix, Apollo, got loose. Officers from the Hometown, Illinois, police department found the dog in Echlin’s yard just as Echlin and her daughter were returning home themselves. Before Echlin could coax the dog inside, an officer shot it in the head.

At least that story has a silver lining: Chief Charles Forsyth promptly fired him."

"A DeKalb County police officer resigned Monday after coming under fire for shooting a resident’s German shepherd and then blocking the owner from taking the dog to the vet."

You may not believe it but cops are held accountable.

Bubba: They kill at least 15 every day

Where did this number come from?

Malpractice by doctors or cops is immoral and usually illegal regardless of uniform .. doctors usually commit malpractice for money, ego, or convenience and they usually get away with it or at worst get sued so I suppose your analogy is not too far afield. The difference is that I can fire my doctor or get a second or third opinion while the luck of the draw determines whether I get murdering Bobbie Joe cop or Robert the magnificent cop on a given day and once he has made a mistake and killed me or my dog his fellow cops will deny the truth and hide the evidence lest they too suffer the same fate if found out .. again just like doctors. I can walk away from a murdering doctor ( and there are some ) but I can't walk away from a murdering cop. The doctor does not come to my house and hold a gun on me while he takes out my kidney and then say oops .. wrong house.  My dogs have less chance than I do to survive murdering Bobbie Joe cop. In all cases ( remember Freddie Grey ) the decision of the cops is final and if the unlucky person got a "rough ride" and ended up dead then it was their fault for being black, minority, poor, female, male or pick from a very long list of excuses .. all results are final.

when police accept a job they are well aware of their obligation to perform. The fact that police do ( and a obligated to so do ) their job could never be a reason to not have lawful civilian monitoring ( and judicial prosecution ( if need be ) of police. As a side bar there is no legal obligation on any citizen that he must like the police.

by Noitsyou on 30 July 2016 - 21:07

You can fire your doctor, if he hasn't killed you. Freddie Gray? You mean the case where the African-American judge, whose character, integrity and impartiality was unquestioned by both sides, found the police not guilty?

Police are not obligated to like citizens so I don't see the point. And there is civilian monitoring of police, one form is called voting. It's your tax dollars that fund law enforcement.
