When I asked about the price for the shipment, I thought the puppy was brought from Germany. I just wanted to know how much such shipment costs because we were considering shipping a puppy from Germany, but got “run around” by airlines when we wanted to find out the price.

Hi Makosh, If you deal with a breeder whom isnt too far from East Germany or very near a Lufthansa terminal you can get a pup to almost anywhere in the US for about 175.00 to 300.00, we deal them every other week or so and never had any problems.

????? 24 hours away from the computer and the world just spins out of control! Sheeesh Newbie! can't you read? I apologized to you! You got a pup you obviously feel fits the bill on what you were looking for and that you are happy with! A pup from maybe a start up kennel who is making some poor choices in advertising sties?? Apparently a well known desirable sire? A female imported in whlep? Great, wonderful - you found a pup from lines you wanted in the US. Congratulations! Be happy. I didn't slam you and call you names - your sarcasm and nastiness is a fantastic example of why the breed is going into the toilet in this country. Let me restate the obvious - and take your personal defense drive out of the picture!!! Doing a google search on Hunt Kennels - the hit came up with a big big generic pet classified list. Hunt was right there with the "breeders" specializing in Silvers, Blues, Am x Germ crosses - a big puppy mill site. The other kennels I recognized there are those who are selling to the first buyers who send in their paypal dollars. Hunt is right there with them, and while stating "occassional" litters, has 2 available in a 3 month period. Lots of puppy mills there - you sign up as a Newbie. Maybe 2+2=5 here, but at first glance - and never having seen the Hunt suffix on a show dog in any issue of WDA, USCA show results, it is not unreasonable to assume that they are not an established, reputable breeder. Not that I would suggest those necessarily either. But to answer your other charge - if I had a litter, I would courtesy ask you what you wanted a dog to do, what your home enviornment was like, ask for references, explain the German titling and koering requirements and AKC limited registration before even discussing the price of the dog. And if I didn't think you were the right person for a working line dog, I'd probably send you to a show line kennel. I pretty much send most people I know to show line kennels for pets. Dave

You totally missed the point to my upset state I was defending my breeder she may have made an advertisment misjudgment i will grant that! But she did not buy the female in whelp she titled her in Germany herself and while she was still over there bred her to Eiko! I did not like the fact I said somthing good about the breeder on here and you attacked her when you don't know her or I! This is my first showline dog I have always had working line till now. I am fully in knowledge of the namecalling and way that working line folks look on the showline! What got me is I put her on here for the great saticfaction she brought me and that others are looking for well handled puppies that are not afraid of their own shadow. Then you go and attack her? how do you think that made me feel? That I offered her name up for you to attack? I felt remorse for being able to come here and give thanks to somone for a good transaction? You glanced at her site judged her, convicted her, and crucified her without knowing a dang thing of anything! Thats what made me mad not your spate on me being duped by a puppy mill and that token apology for me and my "pet"! I looked back on your other posts you have a definete problem with money costs and issues with the cost of showline dogs that you consider beneath you! I have a background in working line I know the attitudes leading to this. Let me ask you have you ever done any actual work with the dog? or are you just in the ring? the same is said of dogs who only "work" in the showring that is said about the showlines by those who actually "work " their dogs! how would you like thinking of those that hold you with the same judgements you have shown to others here? My whole point of that awful speculation to you was to show you being misjudged does not feel good so please remember it before you unknowingly attack another.

Excuse me while I beat my head into a wall Newbie. You have yourself in an absolute uproar over a simple piece of info I posted. You have gone alot further into attacking me and working people and making far far more specific judgements on little to no information. FYI. I have had 3 HOT Schh3 KKL dogs. from 8 weeks old. Dave

Chill people...Newbie, congrats on your new puppy, sounds like it will have a good home/handlerAs for the price, and before I even say it do not get angry but for an 8week old puppie to be bought for $25,00 plus shipping is a bit much, high end for what you got is about $1500 or so, the fact they charged you shipping on a $2500 dog I find kind of tacky. The only reason I bring up price and I hate to make it sound so business like is simply regardlees how much you love the dog it is only worth so much, you should not have to over pay for something.Granted it is what you were looking for but even still fair is fairI have a litter due in a couple of weeks sired from a Vrated Sch 3 and the bitch is an IPO2...I will be selling the pups for $1500 because that is what they are worth on the market....I truely wish you and the new addition to your family the best in the future and please take no offense to anything I have said. Just saying it like it is. I honestly can not think of ANY puppy I would pay 2500 for out of any breeding
