And look at the numbers under Ford to GWB. I guess they finally managed to get all those Vietnam era hippies in the 80s.

The hippies were pot smokers, the returning Vietnam vets were heroin and opium addicts so which was the war on drugs going after hardest .. the hippies.  Enough of cops shooting dogs, stopping black people for non-existent bad tail lamps, and busting down peoples doors in the middle of the night.  I am putting up video cameras not to protect me or my dogs from criminals but from the police.  My dogs are always under my control or behind a fence so if the cops roll up I want them on video just in case one of them feels threatened and decides to shoot a dog behind a fence when I am not present.  Video tells the truth ... cops not so much and not enough to count on.  A little video below showing cops killing a GSD for no reason .. and a ferocious Australian Shepherd shot for biting at a shoe .. the Aussie looks like a puppy and they shot him three times in the dogs front yard with a kid present.  The tough heroes that supposedly protect us need to shoot a little Aussie because he might scratch their shoes.  And a man killed after the cops killed his dog in front of him on his own property.  The cops created a situation where they could kill him and his dog plus being a NC murder by cops the video will not be released nor the names of the killer cops until the local police can bury all the evidence.

Cops come to your door at 2 AM and bang on it and you come to the door with a gun in your hand. They don't announce they are cops and they are not in uniform ... they are at the wrong house .. they kill you and say it was a good shoot. Or in this case a cop kills a family dog after entering the yard and not saying he is a cop. OOps .. too bad doggy.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/posteverything/wp/2015/11/13/police-can-shoot-your-dog-for-no-reason-it-doesnt-have-to-be-that-way/

In the first case a man was killed in Georgia because the exact thing described happened.  They were looking for a speeder on a motorcycle and because of stupid cops with guns a man was killed.  Is it worth killing innocent people to maybe catch a motorcycle speeder.  Hell NO!! Finally a cop shoots a 4 year old but the dog did not attack as he assumed ... are these people (cops) just dumb asses or what??

Isn't it a form of bigotry to judge all cops by the actions of a few?

There seems to be a problem with judgement and reasonable force that permeates every part of US society. A nation does not invade another nation based on an assumption that there might or could be some chemical weapons there ( this is what is known as the Iraq War ). Then that same nation does not occupy a nation for ten years while murdering civilians and expect that murder, bombing, and lies will make the occupied people come around to your side and love you ( this is what is called Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Iraq ). Goons dressed in black don't go around at 2 AM kicking in doors to serve a warrant for a few marijuana plants or speeding and then kill everything that moves ( this is what is known as police SWAT teams ). And finally cops don't get to invade any house or yard that is fenced and signed for dogs looking for a lost child ( who is actually asleep at home but neither the cop or the parents thought to search there first ) and kill the dog that is running away in his own fenced private yard. Having grown up with animals I know that if I go into a pasture with a mature 2000 pound bull I could be charged. I don't kill the bull if the bull is upset .. I simply side step the bull's charge and leave the pasture and come back later. I don't shout orders at the bull and then kill him if the bull does not obey. The bull has value and has every right to be in his pasture .. it is my job as a animal caretaker and manager to care for and have a harmonious relationship with the bull. If herd managers killed every cow and bull that was difficult or aggressive due to being scared or protective of their herd or young they would all stop having a herd and be rightfully unemployed. Why do the police lack the skills to do what every person who works successfully with dogs, cattle, large animals and high school students use every day?? I think it is arrogance and a feeling that they are better than the people they are supposed to serve because they have a tin star and a gun.  While it may be true that all cops are not murdering fools it is true that most cops will presume the murdering fool cops to be innocent and lie to protect them ( it's called sins of ommission and sins of commission ).  When cops treat each other with the same rules and laws they seem to have no problem pounding down upon the poor and the minorities then things will get better.  One set of laws for all fairly and equally applied.

"While it may be true that all cops are not murdering fools it is true that most cops will presume the murdering fool cops to be innocent and lie to protect them ( it's called sins of ommission and sins of commission )."

You have some mistakes there. The first part should read "while it IS true..." because it is a fact. Not all cops are murderers. The other part, "it is true that most cops..." is wrong as it is not true that most cops will do that. There is no factual evidence to back that assertion up. If you were concerned about honesty then you would have written that you believe most cops will behave that way.

I think like everything there are good cops and bad cops. But when an officer breaks the law we shouldn't look the other away. Case in point - http://www.foxnews.com/us/2016/07/26/officer-who-left-son-in-hot-car-wont-be-charged-in-death.html

Citizens are being charged for this. How does one forget their child in a car? If nothing else this is neglect. Child endangerment but nope this cop will not be charged. I have experience with cops and dogs and honestly my experience was good without going into details. I have seen the videos posted online and some of them are abuse IMO.
