Missing Police Dog by Renofan on 29 November 2006 - 23:42 |
Has anyone else heard of this missing police dog in Chester County, PA? Here is the news link. http://cbs3.com/topstories/local_story_331184326.html I received a call from some friends who were out helping look for the dog. They told me that the dog was found with his leash wrapped around a tree and shot. Has anyone received this information from a reliable source? I don't understand how someone could shoot a dog.

I'm sorry to hear about the dog and the owners sadness,my heart goes out. Can I believe it? Yes! I can believe it. Bad guys do this stuff. It's horrible but bad guys do this all the time, and worse. Makes me sick but it is no surprise to me. At least the poor dog was shot and not skinned alive like some people do. It is hard for me to understand.

Yellowrose of Texas, do you know what a sentence is? But then, perhaps you are just a stream-of-consciousness sort of writer.

I can beleive it, makes me sick, I can beleive alot of things doing the job I do. I got called out last summer for a dog that was stollen from a VERY loving family and was tortured to death. I won't give details openly as it's still an open case, and no one here needs to know the horrific details. Of course on the other hand around here the dispatcher tell people when they call from the county to shoot stray dogs, Not because they are chasing livestock or being aggressive, Simply because they have strayed onto they're property. Dispatchers tell people "we have no animal control and can't afford to take them to the shelter" You have to take them in or shoot them. This is a daily occurance. Hell if there are Horses headed for a Major hwy in the middle of the night, Litterally midnight, Monday night I got called out, As county told the caller they don't handle animal issues and to call me. Then proceeded to tell me it was open range and I had no business capturing the horses, I argued the statue did not cover major hwy's as open range, but of course got nowhere. Whatever I HATE THIS COUNTY !!! FURTHER I HATE THE STUPID DIMWHITTED DISPATCHERS THAT THINK THEY KNOW SOMETHING !!!! Yes I beleive it... and it makes me sick, I feel bad for the family !!! Stranger ?? what, come on you've never typoed LOL spelling on purpose. "typoed"

In my county, a couple llamas got loose, one laid down in the middle of the highway and the cops had to stop traffic for about 30 minutes both ways. They were pulling and prodding and the llama refused to move. Quite neat actually.

Nothing suprises me anymore, we just had a person in our town who's children's (ages 7 & 11) pony was shot through the eye and shoulder while grazing in his own pasture, he had to be put down :(

The story broke on this morning's local news. He was found shot, but said nothing about being tied to a tree. Possibly shot be a hunter. Link - http://www.dailylocal.com/site/news.cfm?newsid=17529753&BRD=1671&PAG=461&dept_id=17782&rfi=6 Investigation is on going. Vom Brunhous - thanks for checking. If you hear any additional information, I would be interested in receiving.
