Apple, absolutely. This is the future of dogs, no biting, no lawsuits, no liability, I have said this for many years, 20 years from now, the only place you will find a working dog will be in a museum.

Apple, in what way are the best x malinois far better than the best GSDs, better on what if we talk policedogs considering there are many GSDs still as policedogs? Also, there are still breeders who don´t select dogs only due to points in IPO or whatever sport, and really don´t pay much attention on beauty before workingability and health.

BlackMalinois
i never had a kennel. most i ever had at same time were two dogs - old guy and youngster.
your video show attack where dog in addition to own mass uses force of inertia. in reality, confronting the dog, you won't act to provide advantages and comfy that dog. leave alone that running away actually not a confronting and in real life is quite dumb idea to outrun chasing you dog on open location.
well, on another hands sport need a spectacle and picturesqueness of show :)

apple
i totally do not agree with your statement that
"Dutch Mal X's are far superior to the cream of the crop of the working line GSDs"
because i know what potential GSD breed has. after all the malis did came to prominence only after GSD breed was mainly screwed up by heavy commercialization and it's become hard for military and LE to find suitable dogs. for some time czechoslovakian dogs filled up that void but after commercialization of czech/slovak breeding, attention have been turned to malis.
even so, seems it turned out malis do lacking some qualities, previously been available in GSDs.
that led to experimenting in breeding mutts on foundation of malinois breed, instead of finding and use of working remnants of GSDs to revive and promote decent bloodlines.

Have YOU personally been bitten as in a good fight with a good dog, or, have you SEEN a man get bitten in a good fight with a good dog?

by ValK on 25 October 2019 - 20:10

had both - get witness to and have been involved myself.
my serious decoying began at 16 and lasted for about 19 years.
during this time constantly interacting with hundreds of dogs, who were more than enough capable for fight, one can't avoid accidents.
some during training, when dog did manage to reach unprotected part.
some much worse, like sporadic burst of anger, followed by attack and you don't dressed for such dog's behavior at that time.
