Hi Tinman,
this isnt a question that can be answered on an internet forum.  Everyone on here will have a different opinion of what the "best" is.

Not trying to be an A hole but on this board no one can even come to grips with what a working dog should be.  The WL folk trash each others breeding on here just as much as they trash WL vs SL.  Alot of WL stuff that is coming over at the moment is nervy and sharp so be really really careful who you by from.  It is sad but alot of the working line dogs I am seeing are really spooky.  Find a balanced dog is becoming very very difficult.

Brynjulf,
I totally have to agree with you on that.  Seems lately it has become harder and harder to find that balanced dog, whether it is bred here in the states or imported. Thats not to say there are some really awesome ones out there, but they are just harder to come find.

Tinman123,
Many will have different opinions on what they believe is the best working dog kennel in Europe.  They will be all be correct for their own reasons.  Persoanlly, I don't like to limit it to one one kennel as I feel as though every kennel, at least most of them, have something to offer.  However, if I had to limit it to one kennel to purchase a dog or pup from, I do believe it would take years of research to see which kennel is consistant in what they produce, rather to be drawn to one kennel that produces that one hit wonder.

Good Luck and I hope others can help you.

I've "heard" every breeder with an ad on this database has "TOP, Extra" and the best in about every category possible, but that's only second hand information, too.

Daryl,
It was a joke because the person is looking for German Shepherds, so, I posted a breeder with Dutchies, and Mals. I was being funny, but, of course you got that, right?

I would say karthago, as they are the only kennel to produce above medium quality dogs over multiple decades and from different bitches
