Angela, it looks like your dog and Baby Eagle's dog could be brothers. You girls could saddle those big handsome devils up and go horseback riding. They are both impressive boys.

 Thanks D,

I think he is a little too tall but I love his build. Not too bulky but also not too lean.

While I am 100% against dog fighting. The link above is a old Pit that is the look that I like( minus the battle scars). The picture is old and slightly distorted so you need to use your imagination a little.

Arnold is a very well bred dog. He is double bred on Baker Davis' Midnight Cowboy. Midnight Cowboy's belly brother Chivo is in his bottom as well. Baker Davis always got the best of Carver's dogs. The legends of the early to mid 70's, Boomerang, Midnight Cowboy, and Chivo were all owned by Baker Davis. They all came from Maurice Carver, and are behind many of today's dogs.

Most fanciers of gamebred dogs don't like the stocky, blocky built dogs. Below is a dog I owned. He was half AKC Staff and half ADBA Pitbull. He was born in 1968. His name was Sitting Bull. For that era, he was very stocky and bully.

Sitting Bull, was a great Protector.  All the dogmen hated him, and thought he was an abomination.  I loved him, and kept him his whole life. He was very old in the pic. These days my Mancini below, is about as bully as my dogs get. He is a clone of his grandsire "CHINAMAN"

This old dog was owned by a famous dogman, and my dear friend out in Nevada. I always thought Boomer was a very impressive bulldog. Boomer was a triple bred Ozzie Steven's Virgil dog.
