If the people are providing training that tests the dogs in three areas, I think it is better than what GSDCA is doing. As for the different organizations and the ego thrill of belonging to one or the other, I really don’t think the dogs care. People said SDA, now WDA would fold but it is still churning and people are developing their dogs. So this might progress into an asset for the dogs, peoples ego maybe not so much.

I dunno, Gustav, the GSDCA just hosted the National IGP Championship & Universal Sieger Show in Ohio this weekend, and it certainly brought in some of the big guns--T Floyd [1st], Joeri Veth [2nd], Frans Slaman [3rd], Dean Calderon [4th], Stevo Henderson [5th]... The 2019 US Universal Sieger is Jackie Camp's V-Yankee von Kaltwasser, with an 8th place finish in the trial portion of the event [out of a total of 22 dogs that trialed]. Trial helpers were Marcus Hampton and Waine Singleton. Over 150 dogs, between the trial and the conformation show, participated in the event, despite very uncooperative weather.

Sounds like at least a segment of the GSDCA is still committed to supporting the SV's show and trial programs.
