K9 Enthusiast, where did you get the idea that the "trainer" (now- deceased thug) was found on PDB? The OP came here AFTER it happened, when she started realizing she should have done her homework.
Yes, classifieds here, just like any classified anywhere, are going to have legit and scam ads. That's up to the buyer to sift through, but there is just no logical link between this site and any responsibility for the theft of Sassy's dog...or the shooting of the guy who did it. If he had an ad here, it would have been posted as a "beware."
