I agree that I did not do my due diligence in handling this originally, still shocks me how awful people can be.
He has her puppies advertised on Hoobly for $2000-$2500 and states that an OFA cert is in place plus DM free. Both of these statements are untrue. South Bend Indiana
He suggested to me at what point he would register them under a different female. Never mentions pedigree.

Karma has a way. I picked up my female last week, she's ok, somewhat submissive, ears down a lot. The trainer has a history of violence and was apparently shot and killed by an acquaintance.

Merry Christmas, from Karma. Glad your girl survived this glitch in your judgment. I'm sure in the future, before you leave a precious dog with a stranger, you'll do your due diligence and leave no stone unturned when checking someone out. Now that's he's dead, will you tell us who he is/was? Any chance he's been involved in other issues and there is someone else out there that could benefit from this knowledge? Were there other dogs there? What will become of them?

What Smile .

Damn! Stolen puppies turns into stolen lives. The dog biz is ruff.

Kiddee's stay in school!

Yes of course, there were other dogs there however I met away from the premises, basically because I did not want to get ambushed. There are several other dogs there, the person who contacted me wanted to get the dogs to their rightful owners, however the gf has other things in mind. His name was Curt Gizewski. I know of one dog named Micayla, long coat female that is possibly owned by someone. Plus some other breeds as well. Trust me no dogs, will ever, go anywhere again!!!

Sounds like this incident,

Police say a family dispute led to a fatal shooting late Sunday night at a home in South Bend's River Park neighborhood.

James Griffin, 47, is being held on suspicion of voluntary manslaughter in the death of 25-year-old Curdin Gizewski, officials with the St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit said in a statement Monday afternoon. <more>

Ummm, I am not trying to "rub it in" Sassyspurs- truly, I'm not. But I just can't fathom what about this guy made you want to leave your dog in his care. Was it an unrealistic promise of cheap titling? I don't live that far and I've never even heard of the guy and his FB page is not that of someone I would trust with an animal. Are the puppies he was selling on the page yours? Maybe you should post something and try to help others get their dog back.

One look at that photo of him, and I'd RUN real fast! He looks like he's half-stoned!

The picture is of the guy who did the shooting not the person Sassy is talking about

by PedigreeLanes on 20 December 2016 - 03:12

WR, I am talking about the FB page Jenni posted, which, according to her, is for the guy who was supposedly training the dog.
