WDA does not recognize titles by a USA judge and USA does not recognize titles from a WDA judge. But, if that is the case, the SCH2 was under a WDA club under a SV judge. Confusing.......

"To have a dog breed surveyed the SV requires an AD, BH, and at least once SchH title under an SV judge. This includes SV/Foreign judges. I had to repeat an AD, BH, and SchH title under an SV judge prior to having my current dog breed surveyed. If you’re not interested in an SV Koer report, it doesn’t matter." I do have a SV Koer report. From a SV judge, with the BH and SCH1 from a USA judge. But, I am not competing in Germany and am not breeding a litter to be registered in Germany. There are very few people that do that and that is why they do the titles under the SV judges.

"To have a dog breed surveyed the SV requires an AD, BH, and at least once SchH title under an SV judge." The first dog I titled, V Alex vom Nord Rasen SchH3 KKl 1"a" lbz, received the following titles under USA judges: AD, BH, SchH1--and passed both his breed surveys under SV judges--and is included on the SV's database CD's. Because he finished both his SchH2 (with a USA judge) and SchH3 (with an SV judge) after his breed survey for life, the USA office advised the SV of his subsequent titles. All of his titles and breed surveys are reflected in subsequent paperwork issued by the SV for his grandprogeny. For 2 of his grandsons who were breed surveyed at WDA events with SV judges, I sent copies of their körscheins to the USA office for documentation in their files. Absolutely no problems when these dogs were entered at 2003 and 2004 USA Sieger Shows. Neither USA, WDA, or the SV recognize titles with DVG judges for breed survey purposes. However, USA does accept scores from DVG judges to qualify for advancement from one title to the next (verified by USA's DOJ)--assuming one is interested in the titles alone. If a DVG club has SV judges, scores are accepted by all organizations--provided the owner sends documentation to the respective organizations--and scores are recorded in scorebooks issued by same. Ultimately, you must be pro-active in communicating with the various organizations and with providing acceptable documentation. Louise Penery
